This is the most inward-facing column on the site. The previous seven ask what the world is; this one asks how humanity came to understand it——and how we have got it wrong. It is the reflective thread running through the entire Human Community: how error has pushed science forward, how the same truth has been reached independently across disconnected civilizations, and when a model should be trusted or overturned. It examines bias, anomaly, and the recurring human habit of sorting the world into fours——including this very site’s own method.

这是全站最内向的一个栏目。前面七个追问「世界是什么」，这一个追问「人类是如何认识世界的，又是如何弄错的」。它是贯穿「人类共同体」主线的反思线索：错误如何反而推动了科学进步，同一真理如何在彼此隔绝的文明中被独立抵达，一个模型何时值得信任、何时应当被推翻。它审视偏差、异常，以及人类反复将世界归为「四」的习惯——也包括这个网站自身的方法。
