These notes are written by an observer living within the present age. They are not breaking‑news commentary, deliver no definitive verdicts, and make no claim to absolute truth. What is preserved here are phenomena, perplexities, and open-ended questions.
This series explores the great endowments bestowed upon our era; the human dilemmas that arise when endowments consolidate into power; collective attention as an invisible civilisational resource. It asks where civilisation ought to direct its gaze. Looking back through history, we see that civilisational focus does not follow an inevitable upward path — human sight can rise, yet it may also deflect and fall back.
Regret and doubt remain within these texts. Room is left for disagreement, alternative perspectives, and reflection rooted in your own lived reality. This body of work does not answer for the age. It only seeks to look carefully while the age is passing.
